As well, many of our civil cases are handled on a contingent fee basis. Under such circumstances our fee is based solely on the total we recover for you. The initial consultation is free. If there is no financial recovery, then we charge no fee. This allows us to represent individuals who otherwise might not have the money to hire a lawyer. Our criminal defense cases are handled on a case-by-case basis. Our initial retainer is determined by the nature of the charge and the complexity of the case. For most cases in which no Attorney has been retained or assigned by the Court, a consultation is free.
